Hiking on our local mountain
The Heukareck (2,099 m) is our local mountain. You can view the mountain directly from our terrace. It's highly probable that you can observe chamois and marmots on the steep slopes. Once on the summit, you have a wonderful view of the whole Salzach valley to Werfen, the Hochkönig massif and Mandlwände, and towards the Grossglockner.
TIP: Take plenty of water with you, as there are few water sources on the trail.
