The tour to Hochglocker bei St. Veit is easy. Only 350 m of altitude have to be negotiated along a forest trail to reach the summit.
An excellent starting point is the car park at the Kinderalm - the silent convent of the Sisters of Bethlehem - at an altitude of over 1,200 meters. In just over an hour from there one can reach the highest point of the mountain. On the way there - as well as at the summit itself - many wooden benches and chairs are located at viewing points and provide an oasis of calm and relaxation.
