Hike high over the Tappenkarsee starting in Hüttschlag
Wonderful hiking tour in Hüttschlag in Grossarltal. At the top you have a wonderful view of the Tappenkarsee.
This tour is the favorite tour of our hiking guide Toni Unterkofler. Although it is exhausting with almost 1000 meters in altitude, when you reach the top you will be rewarded for the effort with a fantastic view!
The path first goes over the Karteisalm to the Karteistörl. Once there, you can see the Tappenkarsee on the Kleinarl side for the first time. A pleasure! Then it goes beautifully for about 1 hour along the Grad to Draugsteintörl, where you then turn towards Draugsteinalm. On the alpine pastures, you will be served homemade delicacies directly from the farmer. Definitely stop by and enjoy :-) The last part is quite steep down the mountain until you are back at the parking lot.
